Eaton G3 Metered Outlet Rack PDU

ePDU G3 Metered Outlet models allow device level metering over multiple power feeds, and includes kWh, peak power and current draw. Clearly view and understand the consumption of individual devices powered over A and B feeds and see available power. Metered Outlet units have no switching. They include IEC Class 1 (1%) billing grade accuracy, an advanced hot-swap meter with LCD pixel display showing V, W, A and kWh, and the ability to daisy chain 8 ePDUs to share the same network connection and IP address.

The ePDU G3 Metered Outlet is a rack mount power meter designed to provide a safe and observable flow of power into your racks and each of their component devices. It’s a solution that provides IEC Class 1 (1%) billing grade accuracy metering data over multiple outlets – delivering high-resolution data about kWh, peaks in power, and current draw. 

The Eaton G3 Outlet Rack ePDU allows you to clearly view and understand the consumption of individual devices powered over A and B feeds. Metered Outlet units have no switching, feature advanced hot-swap capabilities, and the device comes equipped with an LCD pixel display that makes information easy to read in-situ.

The ability to daisy chain up to eight ePDUs allows you to conserve resources and share the same network connection and IP address across server racks. The daisy chain methodology made possible by the Eaton G3 ePDU can reduce network infrastructure costs by up to 87%.
