The Capri ADE-6FC is a widely approved cable gland for use with armoured cables and includes a compound barrier.

Suitable for IEC IIC gas groups and NEC Class 1 Div 1 installations and with many cable types the Capri ADE-6FC offers a range of materials and thread options to cover all requirements.

The armour cage system is designed to secure and lock in place cable armour. All cable types assembled into one gland with no requirement to reverse components.

The Capri ADE- 6FC is the best solution for extreme operating temperatures from -60°C to +80°C. The seal material on Eaton's Capri ADE series of cable glands has been carefully formulated to achieve optimal performance. Rated to IP66 and IP68 the Capri ADE-6FC is dust-tight and can withstand being completely submerged in water continuously.

1. Sealing of cable conductors with compound barrier seal.

2. Deluge performance to avoid water ingress through the thread.

Universal clamping design on the Capri ADE-6FC

3. Universal clamping design for earthing and bonding of armour shield. Provides mechanical strength and is suitable for all armour shield types, with no requirement to reverse components that may introduce risk of incorrect installation. Fully inspectable.

4. Specifically formulated elastomer for IP sealing on the outer sheath of the cable.

5. (Optional) Additional external cable clamping for strain relief.
