xPole PFIM Type B residual current circuit breaker

PFIM type B circuit breakers are a special variant which includes, in addition to normal Type A device, modified frequency characteristics and the ability to handle smooth DC currents. This type B RCCB complies with IEC/EN 61008 & 62423 and provides safe and reliable protection against all types of currents. It can also handle residual currents with mixed frequencies of up to 1 kHz (Bfq up to 50 kHz) as per IEC/EN 62423.

The different types come with different advantages

Type -G/B: High reliability against unwanted tripping. Suitable for any circuit where personal injury or damage to property may occur in case of unwanted tripping. Protection against all types of fault currents.
Type -S/B: Selective residual current devices. Protection against all types of fault currents.
Type -G/Bfq and S/Bfq: Suitable for speed-controlled drives with frequency converters inhousehold, trade, and industry. Unwanted tripping is avoided thanks to a tripping characteristic designed particularly for frequency converters. Protection against all types of fault currents.
