xEffect K-type terminals

The modular connection terminal consists of a combination of several very stable terminal blocks. It is used for connecting two or more conductors, like cables, flexible copper-strips or copper-bars in a power or control panel. A very wide range is available as standard in 6 frame sizes from 40 to 1000 A. Optional accessories such as IP2X finger protection or conversion kits complete the product range.

Flexible and safe

Thanks to its modular design, the IPK protection cover for the xEffect K-type terminals from Eaton offers maximum flexibility in combination with IP2X protection. The contact protection covers are heat resistant up to 105 ° C and expand our tried and tested range of terminal block covers for sizes K95 to K2X240. The innovative lamellar structure facilitates the precise installation of the covers, which is particularly important when expanding or modernizing existing systems. Due to the flexible design, the contact protection cover can be used on the entry and outgoing side as required.

Developed for use in low-voltage power distribution systems

Due to their extraordinary stability and robustness, the xEffect K-type terminal blocks can be used as feed or output terminals in low-voltage distribution systems according to IEC/EN 61439-2. For example, they are used in our xEnergy Safety Ci distributor systems with a short-circuit strength of up to 50 kA (in combination with the NZM circuit breakers).

Fast and easy installation

The copper or aluminum conductors can be easily and quickly inserted into the box terminals from above and do not require any bending.
