The open P-SOL and enclosed SOL switch-disconnectors from Eaton’s Moeller series™ safely switch off DC currents between the PV generator and the inverter in photovoltaic systems. These special devices are highly versatile and cover operating currents of 20 A, 30 A and 63 A at 1,000 V DC. As no polarity is specified, they can be installed across a wide variety of distribution systems. In addition, the switch-disconnectors can also be used as a separate switching point, for example to safely disconnect a defective inverter from the power supply. And as 2-pole switches, they are also suitable for unearthed systems. With their pre-wired, out-of-the-box functionality and IP65 enclosure, they are also ideal for outdoor use.

P-SOL DC switch-disconnector
Our P-SOL open switch-disconnectors are intended for customised enclosures or inverters. Separate rotary handles and shaft extensions enable flexible installation. An auxiliary contact can be attached for indication of the switch state. A shunt release module and an undervoltage release module are available for remote tripping.
SOL DC switch-disconnector
Our SOL switch-disconnectors are available as two- and four-string versions and with the two most commonly available connector types. MC4 or metric cable glands allow for hassle-free integration into different system designs. An integrated pressure compensation element prevents condensation to protect against malfunctions due to flashover.
