The XC100 product series is the perfect starter solution for simple control and regulation tasks. The XC100 forms part of a tried-and-tested system, the XControl family. The modern modular PLCs in the XC100, XC200 and XC300 series can be combined with the slice-based modular I/O system XN300 to form compact system solutions for small to medium-sized series machines and systems. The XC-104 device is ideal for small automation solutions with Ethernet-based networking. Expanding the local I/O level with up to six snap-on XN300 I/O modules also allows the system to be flexibly configured. The functions and expansion options offered by these modular PLCs therefore meet the requirements of simple applications in an ideal way.

As many functions as necessary

For simple applications in machine and system building, the XC100 PLC is an affordable solution for controlling process steps in production machines and packaging lines or for regulating environmental conditions in HVAC applications. The on-board Ethernet interface facilitates networking with higher-level devices, displays the contents of the web visualisation and provides remote access, making maintenance easier. In addition, the USB interface supports data storage and simple programming in mass production.

Perfectly combined

Compact system solutions can be easily and flexibly implemented in combination with the XN300 I/O product range. Expanding the XC-104 modular PLC with up to six I/O slices and installing it on the DIN rail can be carried out without any tools. This is thanks to the time-saving locking tabs and clever housing design.

XControl system

Benefit from the systems approach of the XControl system! The XC-104, -204 and -303 modular PLCs can be ideally combined with the XN300 I/O system and the corresponding CAN and EtherCAT gateways to form a system solution for small to medium-sized applications. Furthermore, the installation, wiring and programming of this modern system saves time and is incredibly simple.

XControl software solutions

CODESYS 3 is used to programme the control and visualisation functions of the XC100 product series. Programs that have already been created can be imported quickly and easily using a USB stick.

XN300-Assist will support you with commissioning and installing the devices. Operating the software tool is convenient and saves time. The tool can be downloaded free of charge.

The Eaton Embedded Linux platform with real-time expansion and the CODESYS run-time form the core of the products' software. The system is particularly reliable and its functions are constantly being developed.
