Switch-Disconnectors and cam switches

xEffect XNH

The safety in machines and systems is a decisive factor. With the generation of XNH fuse-switch disconnectors, Eaton provides a device series which has even more safety functions than required by standard IEC/EN 60947-3. A wide range of device variants as well as extensive accessories meet the requirements of the most demanding applications in the mechanical and plant engineering sector as well as in energy distribution. The new fuse-switch disconnector is also the first safety-related NH switching device which can be connected to the Eaton SmartWire-DT® intelligent wiring and communication system as a standard. Due to their performance profile and easy assembly, these devices allow the users for the safer, more cost-efficient and time-saving implementation of their projects.

Core features

  • The fuse-switch-disconnector offers safety functions at the highest level
Designed for
mounting plates, busbars and DIN rails
Rated current
up to 630 A
Innovation
LED fuse-trip indicator

Compact and truly lean

  • Reduced installation depth: no adapter needed, direct contacting of the busbars
  • Available in 1- and 3-pole standard versions, can be combined to create 2- and 4-pole versions
  • Compatible with mounting plates, DIN rails and the SASY 60i busbar system
  • Busbar supports for flat copper conductors for all XNH sizes, can be installed on top of each other
  • Switchboard front plates can be removed while the switch cover is closed

Quick and easy installation

  • Copper conductors no longer need to be bent inside the switchboard thanks to the different options for switchgear front plate supports
  • Various options for fast cable connection
  • SASY60i FLEX: the top/bottom output configuration of all XNH sizes can be easily reversed in just a few steps, which reduces  inventory requirements
  • XNH and D-fuse elements can be mixed on the same 60 mm busbar system
  • Connection area closed by covers at top and bottom
  • FCE or FCL fuse control and SmartWire-DT® can be easily retrofitted at any time
  • In the case of XNH sizes 00, 1, 2 and 3, no additional compensating frame covers for cabinet front plates are required

Smart and connected

  • The communication module simply needs to be snapped onto the cable area cover of the XNH switchgear
  • The switchgear's electronic fuse control provides maintenance staff with information on the operating and fuse status
  • Thanks to SmartWire-DT, it is possible to continuously document and monitor the fuse status, the switch position and the power values
  • Data can be transmitted to all commonly used industrial fieldbuses via gateways
  • A lateral cable duct (included with the delivery) can be used to hold the control lines in place

xEnergy configurator

The xEnergy configurator is a configuration and pricing tool that enables you to design, configure and calculate the cost of your low-voltage switchgear assemblies. Eaton's XNH devices are fully integrated in the configurator, so that you can easily select all sizes and many accessories and add them to your project with just a few clicks.

xEnergy Basic

xEnergy Basic is a wall- or floor-mounted enclosure for electrical distribution systems up to 630 A. It is not only the smallest distribution board in our xEnergy Family, but also the most flexible and versatile of the entire range. The variety of different types and sizes allows it to be used in almost every possible application. Certified as low-voltage distribution boards in accordance with IEC/EN 61439-1/-2/-3 and IEC/EN 62208, xEnergy Basic is the ideal choice for electrical distribution systems in residential and functional buildings.

Safety thanks to reliable testing

The design of our switchgear and controlgear assemblies is verified according to EN 61439, which not only ensures safety but also gives you peace of mind. As a result, the devices can carry the maximum nominal current rather than merely 80%, as would otherwise be the case. In addition, they also provide many more safety functions than required by the EN 60947-3 standard.

Personal safety

The XNH covers can be locked by means a padlock or a special bolt to prevent access by unauthorized persons. Safe switching thanks to the integrated hand protection at the left/right and top of the switchgear cover.
