Power metering and power monitoring equipment and software

EMI energy meters

EMI is a general-purpose three-phase energy meter and suitable for both active and reactive energy metering for cost allocation, as well as for measuring and retransmitting main electrical parameters (transducer function). An hour counter links the energy consumption to the respective operating hours or exported energy to production hours.

Current measurements are performed via external current transformers (5 A or 333 mV) or EMI3P-ROG series, Rogowski coil solution without external integrator. Voltage measurements are performed via direct connection or via transformers.

40 to 480 V AC
Programmable pulse output
0.01 up to 9.99 kWh per pulse
Degree of protection
up to IP40

Core features

  • Application-adaptable display and programming
  • System variables: W, var, PF, Hz, phase-sequence
  • Single-phase variables: VLL, VLN, A, PF, THD (A, V, up to the 15th harmonic)
  • Energy measurements: total kWh (imported and exported); kvarh
  • True RMS measurements of distorted sine waves (voltages/currents)
  • CE and cULus certified
  • Accuracy class 1 for active energy according to EN62053-21

One device - two mounting options

The removable display can be used on both sides, front and rear. This allows the device to be mounted on DIN-rails or control panels measuring 72 x 72 mm and 96 x 96 mm (optional cover).

Higher flexibility, adaptability, and electromagnetic immunity.

The Rogowski sensor is an alternating current measurement device that eliminates magnetic interference and is particularly suitable for measuring high currents due to its linearity.

  • Measuring range from 20 A to 4 000 A with a single coil
  • Accuracy of ±1% and linearity of ±0.2%
  • For single cables, cable bundles or high-capacity busbars
  • Quick and direct installation without additional integrator
  • Cat. IV (600 V) and Cat. III (1000 V)

The most important details at a glance:

1. Keypad: For programming the configuration parameters and scrolling the variables on the display.

2. Pulse output LED: Red LED blinking proportional to the energy being measured.

3. Display: LCD type with alphanumeric information to display all measured variables.

4. Connections: Screw terminal blocks for instrument wiring.

5. Green LED: Lit when power supply is available.
