xEnergy Basic BP

The xEnergy Basic is a wall-mounted and floor-standing enclosure for electrical distribution up to 630 A. The smallest distribution board of our xEnergy family is the most flexible and variable system in the entire range. The diversity of different types and sizes makes the use in almost every application possible. Thanks to its certification as low-voltage distribution board intended to be operated by ordinary persons acc. to IEC/EN 61439-1/-2/-3 as well as to IEC/EN 62208, the xEnergy Basic is the first choice for electrical distribution in residential and functional buildings.

ProfiSNAP - the new installation system

ProfiSNAP is based on an innovative front cover locking mechanism, which replaces the previous Profi+ system. The locking system of this new snap technology not only offers numerous safety features, but also significantly reduces the complexity and time required to assemble and disassemble the covers.

Highlights of the latest product update

  • The BPM-F floor-mounted cabinet is now available as a 400 mm deep version for side-by-side arrangement
  • Aligned layout for fitting EP modules based on the 185 mm busbar system
  • Type EPTS15 35x15 mm DIN rail profile adapted in accordance with IEC 60715:2017 Ed.2.0
  • All internal profiles used in the EP system (EPTV, EPTH, EPTS) are equipped with 9.5x9.5 mm square perforation for cable routing
  • Add-on boxes from the Ci portfolio specifically for terminating larger incoming cables outside of the cabinet (space saving solution)

xEnergy Basic Accessories - Busbars

Busbars

  • The 250 A busbar can supply a row of modular devices; the max. current rating for each output is 63 A
  • Each connector locks automatically, which ensures a high level of safety and avoids the risk of direct contact, in accordance with IP20
  • Outgoing connections can be implemented when the busbar is energized but no load is present at the outgoers
  • Feeder circuits can be easily replaced or retrofitted during operation

There is just one platform which enables two different ways of assembling the interior fitting, either via removable mounting insert (MSW) or fixed installation directly in the enclosure. It offers a customized setup depending on installation behavior and country-specific requirements.

Configurator design and calculation software

Our user-friendly design and calculation software for distribution boxes helps you to quickly design and calculate the distribution installation you need. With the help of a comprehensive symbol library, you can easily create an image of your planned system, and the software will then automatically generate the gross and net prices, mounting times and material lists.
