Optical, photo-thermal & heat addressable detector range

Eaton’s range of addressable detectors are third party approved to the relevant section of EN54 (part 7 for smoke detectors & part 5 for heat detectors).

Suitable for use with Eaton’s addressable fire systems, these detectors are designed to be used in environments where the ambient conditions might cause false alarms if smoke detection were to be used, for example where there are high levels of dust, fumes or smoke under normal conditions.

The range, which includes an optical detector, a photo-thermal detector and a heat detector, are ideal for the commercial sector and can be used in a variety of applications.

Mounting options
Surface mounting with CAB300 base
Area coverage
50m² or 100m² (subject to local standard)

From clean burning to smouldering; Eaton has a addressable fire detector to suit the application

Eaton Optical Smoke Detector

Optical sensor

Giving the fastest response to slow burning or smouldering fires which give rise to large visible smoke particles.
Eaton Photo-Thermal Detector

Photo-thermal sensor

Respond quickly to fast clean burning fires yet maintain the advantage of optical sensors when detecting smouldering fires.
Eaton Multi-Mode Heat Detector

Multi-mode heat sensor

These sensors can be set to one of 3 modes 77ºC / 92ºC and rate of rise.

Soft addressed for quick commissioning

All the intelligent addressable sensors are soft addressed allowing engineers to program the device at the panel instead of on location, reducing commissioning time and cost.

360° Visibility light pipe LED technology

An onboard light emitting diode (LED) utilises light pipe technology to emit a light which is visible in 360° for peace of mind and easy maintenance.

Discrete, simple design

Designed to integrate into any decor, Eaton's range of addressable optical, multi-mode and photo thermal detectors all share a consistent clean design.

One installation point.

Multiple devices.

Eaton's range of addressable detectors have three types of detector base to meet the challenges of the site:

  • Standard detector base (see specification tab)
  • Duct mounting base for monitoring heat, air conditioning and ventilation (HVAC) ducts
  • Sounder bases including options for the addition of a LED or visual alarm device beacon
