Advantor 6 speed AMT

The new Advantor 6-speed automated manual transmission is built for light-duty trucks and buses. It offers a maximum engine torque of up to 700 Nm, delivers up to 10% better fuel economy than manual transmissions, and provides twice the clutch life. Its compact design fits in the same space as a manual transmission, making it ideal for light-duty bus applications.

The Advantor™ series transmissions use four new shared components to simplify and enhance serviceability. These components—a pneumatic linear clutch actuator, inertia brake, new transmission control unit and software, and X-Y shift mechanism—provide a superior driving experience compared to previous Eaton AMTs.
