The Advantor 8-speed automated manual transmission is designed for medium-duty buses. It supports up to 1300 Nm of engine torque and offers improved fuel efficiency and longer clutch life compared to a manual transmission. Its robust design is ideal for high shift density applications.

The Advantor™ series transmissions use four new shared components to simplify and enhance serviceability. These components—a pneumatic linear clutch actuator, inertia brake, new transmission control unit and software, and X-Y shift mechanism—provide a superior driving experience compared to previous Eaton AMTs.
