Capri ADE-5F - gland for armored cable with anti-rotation clamp

The Capri ADE-5F is a widely approved gland for use in hazardous areas with a focus on braided cable and cold flow protection.

Suitable for IEC and NEC installations and with many cable types, the Capri ADE-5F offers a range of materials and thread options to cover all requirements.

It features a unique anti-rotation clamping cage to avoid braided cable damage. Available as a gland only or in pre-packed kit form for ease of ordering. Refer to our ADE Gland Accessories for further matching accessories.

Patented universal armor clamping

Capri's patented “cage system” is a unique design allowing for the use of all armor shield types and thickness without the need to select the correct internal components or orientation.

Interlocking system for visual inspection of the armor clamping and a safe armor contact.

Fitted dust cover

An easily removable integral dust cover ensures protection against dust/water entry prior to cable assembly and without an additional plug. Protecting the electrical equipment during transportation and delivery until the cable is ready to be fitted.

Designed and certified for use in the most severe environments

The Capri ADE-5F is the best solution for extreme operating temperatures from -60°C to +140°C. The seal material on Eaton's Capri ADE series of cable glands has been carefully formulated to achieve optimal performance. Rated to IP66 and IP68, the Capri ADE-5F is dusttight and can withstand being completely submerged in water continuously.
