Capri NEWCAP - metallic industrial cable glands

Our range of metallic industrial cable glands NEWCAP allows the connection of non-armored cables or steel wire braided (SWB) armored cables, which makes it perfectly suitable for EMC purposes.  They are provided with ISO or Pg threads.

Discover our two versions of NEWCAP cable glands and their features: NEWCAP MS and NEWCAP CT.

The NEWCAP MS range offers the extra feature of enabling multi-cable or flat cable securing.

Cable types

Non-armored cable
Cable with insulated conductors, with no layer of mechanical (metallic) protection.
SWB steel wire braided cable
Steel wire braided cable to give mechanical and signal interference protection to conductors.

Tightness and strength

Made of nickel-plated brass or 316L stainless steel, the cable gland accommodates a PVC sealing ring which achieves both an IP66 tightness on the outer sheath of the cable as well as a perfect tensile strength.

Electrical continuity of braided cables

In its MS version, the NEWCAP cable gland ensures the electrical continuity of braided cables by reversing the braided armor on the clamping ring. The CT version ensures the continuity without interrupting the braided armor.

Perfect adaptability to industrial environments

The NEWCAP range offers sealing solutions for multiple and flat cables for a greater adaptation to the current requirements. With an operating temperature range of -20°C to +80°C, the NEWCAP range fully meets the various needs for cable entry management in industrial environments.
