Eaton’s line of enclosed HVAC combination starters were designed to be compact and offer the basic features prevalent in the HVAC market such as a CPT, Hand-Off-Auto selector switch and red RUN pilot light. These features are optional on the ECH NEMA offering and come as standard on the ECX XT compact combination starter. The ECH offering uses a NEMA Freedom starter with a fusible or circuit breaker disconnect. The XT compact combination starter is a UL 508 Type F combination engine controller using a contactor and manual engine protector (MMP).
