Eaton’s Omaha Power Centre produces a range of custom-built, sheltered-aisle, outdoor, metal-clad switchgear enclosures for utility and substation applications. Products include 5–15 kV, 27 kV, 38 kV and 5–15 kV arc-resistant construction up to type 2C, using welded compartment construction for maximum reliability and environmental dependability.

Custom-engineered switchgear designed to exceed IEEE® switchgear design and manufacturing standards to meet the specific needs of your application and environment, including:

11-gauge welded cubicle construction ensures the enclosure remains “square” and breakers rack in correctly over the life of the switchgear
Bolted cubicle assembly forms a solid line-up with two 11-gauge steel inserts between each vertical section to prevent propagation faults from one cubicle to the next
Doors made with double returns and welded edges to prevent warping and ensure that latches operate appropriately
