Eaton PDI Current Limiting Reactor

Eaton’s Current Limiting Reactor (CLR) is a power conditioning system that limits fault current under short-circuit conditions, helping to support overall NFPA-70E and NFPA-75 safety. The CLR is to be installed between a switchboard and switchgear and will be electrically connected to them with flexible busbar connectors.

Safe and advanced short circuit current protection

Eaton’s Current Limiting Reactor (CLR) reduces available fault currents in electrical systems. This reduction improves electrical safety throughout the system while also protecting valuable investments in downstream electrical and computer equipment.

Enhancing data center operations

In the age of AI-driven data centers, Eaton PDI’s Current Limiting Reactors (CLRs) play a crucial role in ensuring maximum uptime and resilience against electrical faults. By reducing fault currents and protecting critical equipment, CLRs help data centers maintain operational efficiency and scalability.
