Safe monitoring of emergency-stop circuits
The internal logic of the safety relays monitors the safety circuits and activates the enabling-current paths if no faults are detected. The enabling-current paths will be switched off if the safety device has been actuated, or in the event of a fault.
Monitoring of movable guards
The monitoring of protective guards and doors is another important function. In addition to restart monitoring, the safety relays can also be used to implement automatic starts. This shortens the cycle times of production processes without compromising on safety.
