Eaton Bussmann series of MOVTPs are radial leaded Metal Oxide Varistors (MOV) that have an integrated thermal element designed to open in the event of the MOV overheating due to prolonged and/or abnormal overvoltages. Eaton’s MOVTPs are offered in 14 mm and 20 mm disc sizes with voltage ratings from 130 Vac to 465 Vac, which comply to the most common distribution voltages. They also offer up to 10 kA surge current ratings and an optional 3rd lead for indication purposes.
