Uvaferm CGC 62 yeast is a selection from the French Cognac area. Uvaferm CGC 62 yeast produces strong, fragrant white wines. Particularly strong is the formation of fruit esters of 2-phenyl-ethyl acetate (rose fragrance) and isoamyl acetate (fruity "banana").
