The Eaton HDR48-EES Extra Energy Saver Rectifier is a 3kW telecommunications grade rectifier offering 98% efficiency. Designed with next-generation Gallium Nitrade (GaN) technology, this facilitates leading efficiency and power density.

The HDR48-EES is directly compatible in systems utilizing HDR48-ES rectifiers, thus improving site level efficiency.

Reduce operational costs

When enhancing your installations with 98% efficiency, it’s crucial to consider the efficiency curve. The Eaton HDR48-EES provides excellent efficiency across the complete load range. To optimize both efficiency and OPEX savings, the system should function at a load point that aligns with peak which HDR48-EES offers >98%

Additional system level benefits

To fully maximize operational costs, the Eaton SC300 System controller provides LBRS (Load Based Rectifier Shutdown) functionality. This feature progressively puts rectifiers into stand-by mode under normal load conditions to ensure system is operating at the optimum efficiency. When additional power is required, the controller re-activates the necessary number of rectifiers. Combining existing HDR48-ES and HDR48-EES rectifiers helps balance deployment expenditure.
