Air Circuit Breaker - IZM32/IN32 series

Eaton’s IZM32/IN32 breakers with Power Xpert Release (PXR) trip units meet the needs of low voltage energy distribution and the increased demands with new materials and a modified construction delivering an intelligent power solution for a safer and more reliable switchgear application.

IZM32/IN32 circuit breakers use a rigid frame housing of engineered thermoset composite resins, which have high-strength structural properties, excellent dielectric characteristics, and arc-tracking resistance.

Individual solutions combined with IZM32

Adding individual solutions to IZM32 circuit breakers provides more protection for systems and safety for personnel in case there is a failure. Furthermore, it also reduces the risk of unintended interruptions of operations.

These solutions include ARMS, ARCON, Zone selectivity, Remote switching, and Testing and documenting with PXPM.

The next generation trip unit platform - Power Xpert Release (PXR)

The higher resolution dot matrix display has been enhanced to be always active, constantly displaying the status of zone selectivity (ZSI), battery condition and rated current In. All data can be transferred via Modbus, Profibus or Ethernet communication function and for security, a password can be added to avoid unauthorized changes. In addition, a QR code has been added for easier identification and to access additional information.

IZM32..-1 Air Circuit Breakers - modified and improved

The improved frame size IZM32..-1 for use up to 3200A with Fixed mounted version and up to 4000A in Withdrawable version allows with its performance the full selectivity towards all downstream protection devices. Furthermore, the circuit-breakers are equipped with digital PXR trip electronics, which, in addition to their versatile functionality, enable additional functions such as event recording, diagnostics and full testing including test protocol generation by means of self-explanatory PXPM software.
