Gateways & adapters for addressable fire systems

Eaton has a range of gateways & adapters for use with Eaton addressable fire systems.​

Network adapters allow fibre optic connection between Eaton fire system network devices. The Lon to RS232 adapter enables network connection to PC based applications, such as site monitor and site graphics.​

The EC540 LON Range of modules includes smart switch technology, which has been tailored in these models for use with Eaton’s fire system LON ​network.​

Their purpose is to extend the distance possible when transmitting fire system ​data between fire control panels; extended transmission distances are ​achieved via the fire system’s LON network, with a further option to convert ​media from LON to TCP-IP

Plug and play Lon network booster

Used for Eaton network extension, the plug and play installation capability of the EC540 range allows network connection without any further configuration. It uses smart switch technology to automatically detect the bit rates of the connected channels, and learn the configuration of the network (domains, subnet / node addresses, group addresses).
