Eaton is committed to ensuring products remain secure by operating a continuous review process for products. Eaton will make reasonable endeavours to provide security updates to products when necessary to protect against cybersecurity threats within the Security Update Support lifetime for a product. 

For any product with the status of Current, Eaton maintains full Security Update Support. 

For products that become Obsolete, Eaton will make reasonable endeavours to continue to provide Security Update Support for 2 years from the point of Obsolescence.  

As cybersecurity threats are continually evolving, the protection against these can be software, hardware or a combination of both. If it is not possible to technically protect against a new threat, then Eaton will notify this vulnerability and withdraw Security Update support for the affected products. 

It should be noted that if it is not possible to provide further security updates to a product this may reducinge the protection against vulnerabilities and exploits, consideration should be given to either replacing the product or removing the cyber exposure of the product i.e. disconnecting from any connected networks.
