Eaton's OC1129 oxygen/nitrogen concentrator performs the functions of two separate systems, supplying oxygen-enriched air to the aircrew and inert gas to the fuel tanks protecting the aircraft from fuel tank explosion and fire. Our oxygen/nitrogen concentrator uses rapid cycle pressure swing adsorption and molecular sieve to generate both the oxygen and the inert gas. By combining an on-board oxygen generating system (OBOGS) and an on-board inert gas generating system (OBIGGS) to process a single air supply, Eaton’s system has fewer parts, a lower weight and higher reliability than separate units processing dual air supplies.
