The i-onHUD Kits are Smart hold-up alarm solutions that are easy to program and offer the flexibility of pairing wired or radio devices to the system. It is the only compliant BS8243 radio solution available that can on-board both fixed and portable Multi-action hold-up devices, that are able to generate a confirmed hold-up alarm from a single device.
Our flexible kit variants combine the fixed (HUD-2B-FXD) and portable (HUD-2B-RMT) hold-up devices with a Smart HUA controller that has a built-in LAN port, which enables free connectivity to Eaton SecureConnect™. This adds layers of additional functionality including ARC reporting, push notifications, email alerts, remote management and maintenance.
Optional Wi-Fi and 4G communicators are also available for either dual path connectivity or independence from the site’s infrastructure.

3x Fixed radio hold-up devices
The HUD-2B-FXD is a fixed radio hold-up device that uses dual button activation to provide full BS8243 compliance for both confirmed and unconfirmed alarms. Resetting the unit is simple with a keyless resetting function.

The HUD-2B-RMT is a portable body worn hold-up device with dual button activation that provides full BS8243 compliance for both confirmed and unconfirmed alarms.

The HUD-2B-RMT-LR is a long-range portable body worn hold-up device with dual button activation that provides full BS8243 compliance for both confirmed and unconfirmed alarms.
Included in all i-onHUD Kits
With all complete i-onHUD Kits, you will receive a Smart HUA controller, a wired keypad and 3x fixed or portable hold-up devices, depending on kit choice.
The Smart HUA controller allows up to 30 fixed radio hold-up devices, 10 wired hold up devices and 50 portable hold-up devices of your choice. The HUA controller can also accommodate a further 40 fixed hold-up devices (total 80 radio or wired) by adding up to 4 radio expanders. The HUA controller also includes 4 outputs (2 transistor and 2 clean contacts) for connecting to other systems.

The keypad provides local notification of a hold-up alarm activation, including identification of the source of the alarm allowing fast response to those in need. Resetting of the system is also done via the keypad which will also automatically reset any activated hold-up devices.
