Capri BS & FB - marine cable glands

Our range of marine BS/FB cable glands are specific French Navy cable management solutions as per the former MN 823-C standard.

These IP66 tight cable glands allow the connection of non-armored or marine cables without the coupling of the armor.

Made of natural brass, the FB version accommodates a natural rubber sealing where the BS version uses a neoprene seal. Both achieve an IP66 tightness on the outer sheath of the cable as well as a perfect tensile strength. With two operating temperatures ranges, the BS/FB ranges meet the different requirements for cable entries management for enclosures or bulkhead connections in marine environments.

Strength and corrosion protection

The neoprene (BS) or rubber (FB) sealing ring achieves a tensile strength and a protection against corrosion.

Perfect adaptability to medium and extreme environments

Depending on the models, two operating temperature ranges are proposed: -20°C to + 80°C (BS) and -40°C to +100°C (FB); therefore, cable glands fully meet the current need for cable entry management in extreme and medium marine environments.

Adaptable mounting methods

The natural brass (FB) version is mounted thanks to a locknut for a quick and reliable assembly, whereas the body of the BS version is made of steel to allow a welded assembly for a better stiffness.
