Crouse-Hinds series Roughneck IECEx/ATEX hazardous area multi-pin connectors provide heavy duty control and instrumentation power in hazardous locations.

Designed specifically for use on land-based and offshore drilling rigs, Roughneck multi-pin connectors are:

Used on motor loads and control circuits in the plug board panel;
Used on control, data and power circuits in the control house;
Used on the top drive system that operates the drilling apparatus.

Contacts – silver plated copper (crimp style) or multi-lam style (single poles)
Shells – high tensile strength aluminum; hard anodic coating per MIL-A-8625, Type III, black
Inserts – rigid insulator: thermoplastic; resilient insert: silicone rubber
