Eaton's Crouse Hinds series line of weatherproof while-in-use covers combine durable weather protection with innovative design features to offer a superior weatherproof solution against various elements such as rain, snow and ice.

While-in-use covers are available in various sizes and styles of die cast aluminum and UV-rated polycarbonate with configurable device inserts for maximum application flexibility.

All Crouse-Hinds series while-in-use covers are NEMA 3R rated and meet the latest NEC requirements for wet locations and extra duty applications.

Multiple configurations and styles for installation flexibility:

Patented corner ball joint hinge allows for vertical or horizontal mounting without disassembly
Up to 55 different device configurations!
Die cast aluminum or UV-rated polycarbonate covers provide excellent corrosion resistance
Available colors include gray, transparent gray, white and bronze
Adapters included for decorator and GFCI devices, duplex receptacles, switches and round receptacles
Low profile models available with unique design that eliminates cord bending inside the cover
Recessed models available; one-piece assembly replaces separate installation of outlet box, siding guard and while-in-use cover

Complete kits available:

Kits include single-gang outlet box, in-use cover and 15A tamper-resistant, weather-resistant GFCI device – save time with fast and easy installation
Available with non-metallic or metallic while-in-use covers
In-wall or external mount versions available

Our standard non-metallic and metallic while-in-use covers feature a corner ball joint hinge that allows for vertical or horizontal mounting without disassembly. The cover will open in either orientation!
