LALVIN EC 1118 organic yeast is an dry active yeast produced under optimized conditions. All raw materials used are produced according to the criteria of certified organic cultivation and used to produce LALVIN EC 1118 organic yeast.
The yeast strain EC 1118 Bio (original "Prise de Mousse") was selected in Champagne and validated by the Comité Interprofessional du Vin de Champagne (CIVC). Safe digestion and high alcohol tolerance are characteristics of LALVIN EC 1118 Bio yeast.
