Breathing regulator and anti-G valve (BRAG)

Eaton’s positive pressure breathing regulator and anti-G valve (BRAG) features two independent regulators to ensure fail-safe operation. Our seat mounted BRAG delivers controlled outlet for pressure breathing for altitude (PBA), pressure breathing for Gs (PBG), and anti-G trouser pressure according to a pre-programmed schedule utilizing electronic feedback control. The PBA, PBG and anti-G schedules are programmable, as needed, to minimize the effects of physiological events. Our BRAG offers continuous built-in testing that monitors regulator performance and communicates with other life support system components to ensure optimal performance. It also collects breathing system data for post-flight analysis.
