Le poste externe numérique de type B VoCALL est conçu pour être polyvalent, compacte et facile à utiliser. Ces unités sont disponibles en montage encastré ou en saillie. Ils disposent d'une sonnerie à volume élevé, d'un voyant LED d'état ainsi que d'une signalisation tactile en braille. Ils sont compatibles avec l’ensemble des systèmes numériques VoCALL.
Constituant l'interface entre le lieu de refuge et le panneau principal, les postes externes de type B sont conçus pour être utilisés dans une situation d'incendie et doivent donc toujours disposés d’un câblage résistant au feu (veuillez vérifier les codes d'installation locaux pour le type de câble).
Les postes externes de type B doivent être uniquement utilisés dans les zones où le bruit de fond est inférieur à 40 dBA (sans sirène ou alarme vocale à proximité). Pour les espaces d'attente sécurisés (EAS), des postes externes de type A ou B peuvent être utilisés.
