  • Battery isolators act as a check valve to prevent auxiliary batteries from draining the main battery 
  • Battery separators protect the charging system from excessive electrical loads by disconnecting the main and auxiliary batteries from one another. Disconnecting the two allows the separator to prioritize the charge based on priority 
  • When installing a battery isolator on a Delco/Delphi CS Series alternator system, a GM Delco CS Series connector kit is required OEM connector modification 
  • Battery disconnect switches are available in top and side post options. The 15968-1 is typical in large truck applications
