Additionally, they’re ideal for applications where reliable performance, safety, and service continuity are critical. Safety switches with enhanced visible blade are available in standard switch construction (with solid front door) or with an optional viewing window (as shown here).

  • Enhanced visible blade can be included in a standard heavy duty safety switch (with solid front door), requires catalog suffix 'V'
  • Switches with optional viewing window incorporate enhanced visible blade as a standard feature
  • Enables personnel to clearly see that blades are disengaged from stationary contacts when the switch handle is in the OFF position
  • Provides increased visibility over each pole, allowing users to clearly see the trailing edge of the blade
  • Updated arc shield’s yellow color creates greater contrast between blades and arc shield
  • Provides clear path to view switch base and current carrying blades with viewing window
  • Available in 30–1200 A ratings
  • NEMA 1, 3R, 12, 4 and 4X enclosures for robust environmental protection
