Integrated Power Assemblies (e‑house)

Eaton's Integrated Power Assemblies (IPA) are fully customizable, prefabricated e-houses that contain Eaton's wide ranging product offerings including power distribution and control assembly equipment. With full collaboration with Eaton's Project Management Organization, Eaton product lines and our trusted manufacturing partners, Eaton manages the entire process from inception through delivery. Eaton offers high-quality power distribution centers (PDC) through a flexible and streamlined process which is significantly more cost-effective than on-site construction by harnessing our advanced knowledge of product coordination and integration expertise, as well as our proven track record.

While these PDCs often go by many different names across the electrical industry (e-house, electrocenter, electrical building, electrical skid, modular building, walk-in enclosure, switchgear building, electrical distribution room, control hut, etc.), installing Eaton's Integrated Power Assemblies will help simplify your project while keeping you on-time and within budget.

Core features

  • Metal house construction including galvanized steel, stainless steel and aluminum with specialty constructions such as concrete and blast-resistant available
  • Welded I-beam foundation for internally mounted electrical components, enabling either pier-mounted or pad-mounted installation
  • Equipment skid designs available
  • Multiple U.S. manufacturing locations for strategic and fast delivery
  • End-to-end project management capabilities for the construction of the electrical control building, as well as site supervision to the installation and configuration of the equipment

Eaton IPA: turnkey e-houses you can rely on

After reviewing your project specifications, our engineers can provide recommendations that can lower your costs, enable an easy installation process and minimize complexity. The engineering and construction process of the IPA maximizes convenience, minimizes risk and reduces total cost of ownership. Eaton assumes single source responsibility for the entire process, further reducing your risk.

How to maximize commercial building space with customizable e-houses

An e-house can mitigate the challenges faced by building owners, contractors and consultants and serve as an alternative to traditional designs. These prebuilt power systems increase project productivity by providing the key benefits that customers in the commercial construction segment are looking for in their projects – real estate optimization, customization, simplified project management and reduced installation time and cost.

Convenient plug and play design

A true plug-and-play power solution that can be set into a designated location, the skid design offers maximum convenience, efficiency and ease of installation. This highly effective power control room for indoor or outdoor applications eliminates the need to build a foundation or pour a housekeeping pad.
