Eaton's BeamTech CG-S is a central battery emergency lighting beam light with one or two high-intensity light heads.

It provides a flexible solution for both wide-area anti-panic lighting and narrow illumination of escape routes or to highlight safety equipment like fire extinguishers in accordance to EN1838.

It is designed as an aesthetic alternative to traditional emergency beam light solutions, making it a good choice for public areas. While its IP65 ingress protection and IK07 impact resistance also make it well equipped for industrial applications such as factories or warehouses.

LED safety luminaire with high ingress protection class (IP65) with one or two adjustable light heads with 400 lm each
Light heads are rotatable in two axes in 15° steps and are equipped with a locking mechanism preventing an accidental change of light head configuration
Narrow or wide beam option can be configured individually per light head via jumper switches
For better aesthetics of the product, the two IP65 cable glands are integrated in the power supply unit so that they are invisible after installation
One product applicable for escape route illumination, open area illumination or for illuminating points of emphasis in accordance with EN 1838

Equipped to fit all your applications

BeamTech CG-S is a multi-purpose beam light that offers escape route or open area illumination with the ability to define the light distribution to suit the application by simply selecting wide or narrow focus via the jumper configuration.

The narrow light distribution can be used to illuminate escape routes from far which can mean extreme heights.

The wide light distribution can be used for large areas where no fixed escape route is defined, meaning that the complete area needs to be illuminated.

Inclination

The inclination of the light heads can be adjustable in steps of 15° from 0° to 90.

Rotation

The rotation of the light heads can be adjustable in steps of 15° from 0° to 360°.

Stopping points

Stopping points prevent the luminaire from being damaged by turning too far with steps. While steps engraved every 15° make it easy to step up in line with the lighting scheme.

Locking mechanism

The light head is equipped with a locking mechanism preventing an accidental change of light head configuration.

Highlight safety equipment and other points of emphasis

BeamTech CG-S is the ideal beam light to provide 5 lx vertically at safety equipment like described in EN 1838.

With its flexible light heads, it makes it straightforward to highlight safety equipment from various mounting positions.

Installation the way it's meant to be

BeamTech CG-S is designed to provide fast installation with easy access to the unit via a clipped housing and cable entry from either the side or rear of the fitting.

Entry points are equipped with built-in cable glands, positioned in the interior of the power supply, always assuring the IP protection while maintaining the aesthetics are unaffected.

Smart tool

A "smart tool" included in the box enables quick fixing of the housing and tightening of the integrated cable gland's nut.

Two integrated cable entries for cables with up to Ø 12 mm.

Flexible membrane

The ﬂexible membrane in the cable gland allows simple insertion of the cable - the cable can be easily pushed through.
