Crouse-Hinds series Pauluhn marine explosion-proof pin and sleeve receptacles and plugs provide safe and reliable temporary power to equipment in oil and gas exploration and production, fuel dispensing facilities, petrochemical facilities, pipeline compressor/pumping and storage and other applications where hazardous gases are present.

Certified for Class I and II hazardous areas, the interlock design ensures that the plug can only be inserted into the receptacle while the unit is switched off and cannot be removed while the unit is energised.

Design features

XPFConnect-PS:

  • Receptacles are rated for operation on 125 VAC or optional 250 VAC
  • Internal activation switch is rated at 20A, 2 HP at 115–575 VAC, 2 and 3-phase
  • Unique design has no levers and only one moving part for superior reliability
  • Interlock ensures the plug can only be inserted into the receptacle while the unit is switched off and cannot be removed while the unit is energised
  • 2P 3W or 3P 4W units available

  • May be locked into the ON or OFF position for added safety
