Quantitative debris monitoring system

Eaton's quantitative debris monitoring system has more than 100 million hours in service on commercial passenger aircraft engines. QDM® is the industry standard for safety and engine health monitoring. Our system monitors lubrication oil for abnormal metallic debris particles and signals the engine's full-authority digital engine control (FADEC) system.  Action taken may include advanced maintenance scheduling and potential engine shutdown in extreme conditions.
