EU REACH Regulation and SVHC

We support the requirements of the EU REACH Regulation

The EU REACH Regulation 1907/2006/EC addresses the safe use of chemicals placed on the market and their potential impact on both the environment and downstream users. As a manufacturer of electrical and electronic equipment, we support this approach and are committed to meet our responsibility with regard to the chemicals concerned as well as the safe use of chemicals in our products placed on the market.

We are fully committed to meeting all regulatory requirements that apply to our products and we carefully monitor new and upcoming legislation that could affect us and our products. In addition, we have taken steps to implement these product requirements in a timely manner.

Substances of very high concern (SVHC) in electrical and electronic equipment

We have established processes to identify whether substances of very high concern (SVHC) are contained in our electrical or electronic products and we are actively working with our suppliers concerning this matter, consistent with our commitment to our customers. In accordance with EU REACH Regulation EC1907/2006, we register the chemical substances used in our electrical or electronic products with the  European Chemicals Agency (ECHA), which maintains a list of SVHC (the “Candidate List”).
