Capri ADE-6F – hazardous area cable gland with cold flow protection

The Capri ADE-6F is a robust, ATEX and IECEx-certified armored cable gland designed for hazardous area installations. Unlike traditional glands, it uses a diaphragm seal to prevent cold flow damage - ideal for maintaining long-term cable integrity.

Compatible with IEC and NEC standards, the ADE-6F supports a wide range of cable types and is available in multiple materials and thread options to meet diverse industrial requirements.

Designed and certified for use in the most severe environments

The Capri ADE-6F is the best solution for extreme operating temperatures from -60°C to +80°C. The seal material on Eaton's Capri ADE series of cable glands has been carefully formulated to achieve optimal performance. Rated to IP66 and IP68, the Capri ADE-6F is dusttight and can withstand being completely submerged in water continuously.

Universal armor clamping

The ADE-4F, ADE-5F and ADE-6F models all offer universal designs for all types of armored cable. All designs achieve clamping and earth bonding of the armor for all amour types with reversible components.
