Eaton’s Distribution Relays (EDR3000 and EDR5000) offer complete metering, protection, and control for all voltages in a single compact case to reduce panel space, wiring and overall costs. All relays meet or exceed instantaneous and time overcurrent requirements. Integral test functions reduce required maintenance and troubleshooting time, and intuitive programming reduces required operator training time and provides unmatched flexibility, resulting in reduced overall expense. All relays perform multiple protection functions, self-diagnostics, and reporting for transformers and distribution lines.
Eaton E-Series Protection Relay Devices purchased after May 31, 2023 will now have a warranty extension of 10 years, superseding the previous warranty of 18 months.
Eaton distribution relays support all of the following communication protocols as well as the "Do Not Use" option.
46— Current unbalance elements
50BF— Breaker failure
50P— Phase instantaneous overcurrent elements
50R— Calculated ground or neutral instantaneous overcurrent elements
