Pow-R-Line Xpert general purpose distribution switchboards

Eaton’s Pow-R-Line Xpert (PRLX) general purpose distribution switchboards combine integrated Power Defense insulated case and molded case circuit breakers, metering, surge protection and other various Eaton products for dependable and intelligent electrical distribution and protection. Available in maximum 6000 A main bus rating and maximum 600 Vac/Vdc, the switchboards provide enhanced accuracy and reliability for optimum system coordination with Eaton’s Power Defense circuit breaker family.

    Integrate HPX high-pressure contact switches

    Reliance on step-up transformers to distribute utility-supped 208 Vac power at 480 Vac within high-rise buildings is increasing. With stricter electrical code requirements being enacted, Eaton has developed a HPX high-pressure contact switches that are:

    • 12x Make & 12x Break of the frame’s current rating
    • Designed to withstand and operate the large inrush currents of step-up transformers and other high-inrush current inductive loads
    • Engineered for simplified replacement of Pringle bolted pressure contact switches in retrofit applications
    • Available with built-in current, voltage, power and energy management
    • UL 977 listed and support UL 891 switchboard applications
