Eaton’s Test-A-Pack 2600 Seal strength tester is the industry standard for package testing. This easy-to-use package seal tester conforms to ASTM 1140 and performs burst and creep tests on today's most complex packages. The patented sensing system accurately measures true internal pressure within the package and can accurately test porous and non-porous packages.
Our Test-A-Pack 1320 closed package test fixture and Test-A-Pack 1600 open package test fixture accommodate a wide variety of open or closed packages. Optional Test-A-Pack 1750 restraining plates are also available to perform seal strength testing in accordance with ASTM F2054-05.
The Test-A-Pack 1320 closed package test fixture provides an easy to use, stable platform for conducting pressurized seal strength testing on fully sealed flexible packages and lidded trays. Used in conjunction with Test-A-Pack's 2600 seal strength tester, the closed package test fixture is capable of testing a wide variety of porous and non-porous packages with a maximum height of 18 inches.
Test-A-Pack 1600 open package test fixtures are used when you are burst or creep testing flexible packages with three sealed sides. Our fixtures are pneumatically actuated to make open package testing fast and easy. These robust fixtures are built to last and come in standard 12- and 24-inch lengths.
Test-A-Pack F100 open package test fixtures
The Test-A-Pack F100-1618 and F100-1636 open package test fixtures provide a stable platform for conducting pressurized seal strength testing on a wide variety of porous and non-porous flexible pouches and bags in accordance with ASTM Standard F 1140. These fixtures feature two pneumatically actuated direct acting cylinders that provide fast, positive clamping of the test sample.
