Utilizing the same proven radio and node technology as Eaton water nodes, the natural gas nodes seamlessly integrate with Eaton’s Smart Grid network and are supported by the Yukon software platform.
Eaton's RFG-201 smart gas node is a two-way advanced metering (AMI) node that utilizes a pulse-based interface to integrate to rotary meters and volume correctors. The RFG-201 also works in conjunction with the RIOTronics modules in order to seamlessly integrate to popular diaphragm meters, such as those from Itron/Actaris, Honeywell/Elster/AMCO and Sensus/Rockwell/Equimeter.
Eaton’s RFG-301 smart gas node is a next-generation, two-way advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) node that wirelessly interfaces with Eaton’s RF Mesh network. Compatible with the Honeywell American (RFG-301A) and Sensus Rockwell (RFG-301R) residential gas meters, the gas node enables utilities to remotely collect usage and interval data (at remotely configurable intervals) for more accurate and punctual billing and collections.
