Katrina R. Redmond is executive vice president and chief information officer for Eaton, a global intelligent power management company.
Since joining Eaton in 2021, Katrina has been responsible for the enterprise information technology strategy and execution. With an extensive background in business analysis, process improvement and strategic planning, she has demonstrated exceptional leadership in streamlining operations to boost productivity and profitability.
Before Eaton, Katrina spent more than 18 years at GE, holding various leadership roles, including COO, CIO and Quality Leader. She played a pivotal role in significant M&A activities, such as the $11 billion divestiture of GE Plastics and the $11 billion acquisition of Alstom. Katrina also served as CIO at ABB and later as vice president and CIO at Hubbell.
Through her various roles, Katrina has had the opportunity to live abroad in China, India and France, immersing herself in the culture and gaining a deep appreciation for the global teams that she leads. Known for her process-centric leadership and expertise in digital transformation and operating excellence, Katrina is a proponent of Lean principles in all her endeavors.
Katrina holds bachelor’s degrees in biology and psychology from the University of Georgia and a master’s degree in industrial engineering from Southern Polytechnic State University.
