  • Technical Sales

Program Purpose: To develop the next generation sales leaders for Eaton’s Electrical Sector through diverse and challenging sales assignments that will build the participant’s sales, technical and leadership skills and grow their product and functional knowledge base.

Duration: Full Time: 2 Years (Rotational) | Internship: 12 Weeks Summer

Sample Assignments: First Year: Learn more about Eaton's broad portfolio of products and services while developing essential customer service and support skills. Second Year: Inside Sales Engineer

A day in Technical Sales

  • Information Technology

Program Purpose: To develop future IT leaders through a variety of both hands on technical and business processes experiences.

Duration: Full Time: 2 Years (Rotational) | Internship: 12 Weeks in Summer

Sample Assignments: Cyber, Data Science, Software Engineering, User / Customer Experience, Project / Product Management.
  • Engineering Services

Program Purpose: To develop a strong pipeline of highly skilled engineers to provide solutions to our customer’s power problems. Full time and internship opportunities include: Field Service Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, and Power Systems Controls & Automation Engineering.

Duration: Full Time: Non-rotational | Internship: 12 weeks in Summer

Sample Assignments:

  • Field Service Engineering: perform hands on work on customer sites installing and servicing electrical equipment
  • Power Systems Engineering: Perform short circuit, low voltage coordination arc flash studies, and more
  • Power Systems Controls & Automation Engineering: Deploy various schemes, SCADA system development, program programmable logic controllers, and more

A day in Engineering Services

  • Operations Management

Program Purpose: To develop future Operations leaders through a variety of enriching, diverse, and cross-functional experiences in the following areas: lean/continuous improvement, project management, supply chain, product line management, manufacturing or quality engineering.

Duration: Full Time: 3 Years (Rotational) | Internship: 12 weeks in Summer

Sample Assignments: Manufacturing/quality engineer, continuous improvement, front line supervisor (3rd year only) across various manufacturing facilities.

A day in Operations Management

  • Engineering and technology

Program Purpose: To develop future technical leaders through a variety of diverse experiences in the following areas: Embedded Systems, Software, Power Electronics & Mechanical Design.  In this program, you will help design the world’s next intelligent power management solutions and bring them to life.

Duration: Full Time:  2 years Rotational (single location) | Internship: 12 weeks in Summer

Sample Assignments:

  • Software: Development of IoT applications, firmware, web/mobile app development, & more
  •  Embedded Systems: IoT product application and development, firmware and software development for micro-controllers, and development of embedded hardware for power distribution products
  • Power Electronics: Wide Band Gap and MV Power Conversion, Solid State Circuit Protection, Transportation Electrification, and Energy Intelligence
  • Mechanical Design: Design and Simulation, Product Testing, Design Validation, and Prototype Development 

A day in Engineering and technology

  • Human resources

Program Purpose: To develop future HR leaders through a variety of enriching and diverse learning experiences through the perspective of a HR Generalist. You will build HR foundational skillsets and sharpen key leadership skills and operational knowledge needed to accelerate your HR career at Eaton.

Duration: Full Time: 2 Years (Rotational) | Internship: 12 Weeks in Summer

Sample Assignments: Plant or division HR Generalist in manufacturing facilities, labor environments, or a corporate office

A day in Human resources

  • Finance and accounting

Program Purpose: To develop future Accounting & Finance leaders by gaining a broad understanding of operations accounting, financial analysis and planning, and business acumen of several of Eaton's businesses.

Duration: Full Time: 2 years (Rotational) | Internship: 12 weeks in Summer

Sample Assignments: Financial Planning & Analysis, Operations Finance and Corporate Finance
